About the Artist:  Suzanne Burns received her art degree from the University of Washington.  She works in pencil, ink, oils, acrylics, watercolor, mixed media, clay and stone. 

She is a member of the Verksted Gallery in Poulsbo, Washington, a member of the Northwest Stone Sculptors Association, and a member of the West Coast Stone Carvers in British Columbia.

Her studio is located on a woodsy hilltop overlooking Hood Canal, and it is this area of the northwest that inspires her work.
